What happened to this place??? This place was hands down one of the BEST places to get pizza. They were always super super busy I'm so sorry to hear they closed 2 years ago. I hope the owners are happy and doing what they love.

Walking in, you could tell that this is a cozy, inviting and trendy spot. I went with one of my friends and we started with the Arancini and Fried Mac & Cheese. When I tell you I could have eaten 10 arancini, I am not lying. They were so flavorful and delicious, they melted in your mouth. Suckers for carbs like myself, BEWARE!! :) For dinner, I ordered a mushroom, onion and bacon pizza and it was delicious. You can tell that their dough is fresh and homemade, which is an A+ in my book. Will definitely be back.

Came on a Thursday evening with a friend just in time for happy hour. It was fairly busy, but we were able to get a table outside. Later on there was definitely a little bit of a wait for a table. We started with happy hour appetizers of arancini, meatballs and truffle fries. These were ok, a little disappointing since they do pizza and burrata so well. The meatballs were on the denser side and the fries were cooked very well (perfectly crisp and golden), but a little lacking in the parm/truffle. We also got the watermelon and mango ice cocktails (specials) and these were good, but a little too sweet for our taste. The burrata e frutta was definitely the best thing we ate, so beautifully presented and fresh. Worth it to just go for the burrata platters. We also got the zucchini pancetta pizza special-also very good. The crust is perfectly chewy, the crisp pancetta adds a great saltiness and crunch to the creamy cheeses and zucchini. I think it's a great idea to have the automatic 15% service charge to make up for terrible tippers, but wish there was an option to add additional tip using your credit card. Additional tip has to be made with cash only, which I understand why, but felt bad when neither of us had extra cash. Most of the wait staff look like high school/college kids who may be a little inexperienced, but they were all friendly and as attentive as they could be during such a busy night.

This place is a hidden gem right off of Post Road in Fairfield, which recently has seen a lot of activity as several new restaurants have opened up. The nightlife is buzzing these days, as it should be as folks have been enjoying this post Covid, vaccinated summer. This is mainly a Pizza place, with a pretty large indoor section as well as outdoor seating. The menu is pretty decent with wide variety of Pizza options, which can be customized too. What really grabbed my attention was the calamari in the appetizer section. As I selected it, our waitress endorsed it too, so was pretty excited to see that it was a generous helping when it arrived. It was after I took the first bite did I realize how good it really was. IT WAS AWESOME!! probably the best fried calamari I have had, very fresh, very juicy and not too greasy. It comes mixed with hot fried green and red pepper, along with a few Shrimps thrown in. Did I say that it was Awesome? I had also ordered the Pesto Chicken Pizza and my daughter, the shrimp Pizza, but between the two, The Pesto Pizza stood out. The pizza's are decent size, I would say like medium sized, but both times that I have been there, was unable to finish them, as the Calamari appetizer can be pretty filling. Great service, great ambiance and really good food. Do check out the Calamari!

Brick + Wood has given me pizza back since I've had to go gluten free! They make hands down the best gluten free pizza I've ever had with their house made dough! Even my anti-gluten free snob father was impressed with their gluten free pizza. Brick + Wood is also a great spot to go to when I meet my friends for a drink and some eats, it's a favorite of all of ours. The cocktails are delicious and they have great appetizers and desserts for gluten free and non gluten free alike! They also have a relaxing outdoor seating space A personal favorite and must try in my opinion is their zepoli bread sticks and Artichoke Cheese dip w a little kick from jalapeños!

This is one of the best places to eat in Fairfield, CT. They are known for their pizza, and that's where most people think they think they shine, but everything they make is delicious! They have secret dishes that will knock your socks off, like their Truffle Arancini. Their burrata specials are the best around their pasta dishes are delicious. Always try their specials, you won't be disappointed. Here, you will get the best quality food, delicious and inventive meals, and excellent service. If I don't visit for a while, I find myself craving a Burrata pizza or an Il Ducale. Back before COVID, on any weekend night, it was tough to get a seat (I guess the word is out). I have been back a few times since COVID, and I can assure you, they are practicing all guidelines, everyone is wearing a mask, and the ordering system has been improved. It's important to point out that right now, they are not accepting tips via card charges. I was so embarrassed when I found this out and had zero cash on hand. Bravo for making it through such a challenging and trying time.

YOU NEED TO TRY THIS PLACE! Came here because one of our friends highly recommended it and he did not disappoint. We started out with some truffle fries and the BW Antipasto Misto. The truffle fries were nothing special but the antipasto plate was delicious. The local honey and jam that comes with the platter was so tasty. For the entree I ordered the zucchini pancetta pizza which is a white pizza with roasted zucchini, onions, ricotta, and topped with crispy pancetta. The taste of the pizza was so delicious and it was like a pizza I've never had before!!! If I lived in the area I would be here all the time. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND. **my only note to the staff during COVID is that they should seat customers instead of us seating ourselves as there ended up being a few instances where staff had asked customers to move to a different table**

My sandwich was amazing. Grilled chicken with fresh mozzarella. The bread was a fresh, thin pizza crust. The balsamic dressing was equally good. I wanted to take some home. The sandwich was big enough to take half home for another meal My side caesar salad had big pieces of shaved cheese. I wish it came in a separate bowl so I could mix it better. The restaurant decor and setup was trendy. I really enjoyed the open kitchen. I can't wait to go back.

This place was packed on Friday night. We had about a 15 minute wait. The Friendly bartender made a nice gin and tonic. Overall this is not a huge place. About 12 seats at the bar and another 3 tables where u can cram 5. They had a good selection of tap brews and I saw A nice looking sangria in both red and white - sorry I didn't taste either. The pizza is a Neapolitan style with a blistered chewy crust. The cheese is a fresh mozzarella and the tomato sauce was complimentary and did not overshadow the other flavors. The toppings were good flavor and enough to cover the pizza. We had a meat lovers and a sausage and mushroom as well as the classic Neapolitan. The Service was great. The staff worked well together and had a great attitude. The place was really busy but you couldn't tell from the staff. Main dining room is small but you still have ur own space. They also had another bar area for seating looking over the cooking area. I was impressed. They make the most of their space, have a great crew working and make really tasty food.

Really enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. They have outdoor seating as well as indoor seating with tables next to an open window and regular dining seating. The ambiance and decor of this place is exceptional. We sat at the bar by the open windows, a great view on a warm pleasant day. I absolutely love their lunch menu. Many different types of specialty pizzas as well as panini sandwiches and plenty of apps and salad choices. We started off with an order of Sangria and we had a chicken parmigiana and meatball parmigiana panini. The Sangria was very refreshing and good. The paninis were very good. Without a doubt we will return for lunch and for dinner. The service was excellent and the food was very good.
